Gabrail Cancer Center offers chemotherapy and other infusions to serve our patients. We offer the most cutting edge cancer treatments, as well as, treatments for any disease, including osteoporosis, Crohn’s disease, gout, asthma, thyroid eye disease, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

You will be given an appointment time for your infusion session. Although we are usually able to follow this schedule, delays due to emergencies are sometimes unavoidable. We ask for you patience if this situation arises.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Gabrail will order frequent blood work while you are on treatment to monitor the effects of the medication on you body systems. Often this will be done weekly. Blood will be drawn from your arm or from your implanted port. Remember, if you are scheduled for blood work, you will be seen in the lab before beginning your treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n

You will also be scheduled to see the doctor periodically. On these days your appointments will be longer and you will need to stop at the front desk to make new appointments before leaving the office.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to keep an appointment.<\/span><\/p>\n

You may eat prior to \u00a0your chemotherapy session, unless instructed prior to your appointment to fast. If you are going to be receiving treatment over several hours, you may want to pack a lunch. We have a microwave available. There is a snack and beverage vending machine also available.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can continue to take your medications while you are on treatment. The doctor will want a complete list of medications that you are taking, prescription and over the counter medications prior to any treatment sessions. \u00a0Please bring your medication bottles with you.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You may be offered involvement in one or more of our clinical trials. If you are enrolled in a clinical trial it is important to update staff on any medication changes, hospitalizations, and or procedures during your participation. Please call 330-492-3345 x 205.<\/span><\/p>\n
